72 hours on Cromwell Lake
Just done a 72 hr session with Newbs on cromwell lake got there about 3pm after 3 false starts setting off (nearly left me tele) met Nathan the new owner he made us a brew and had a chat for a while then got on are chosen pegs which was very lucky lol we got set up and settled down when 7 pm came and i heard the sound of anglers dreams me delkim screaming away i had a bit of a battle with weed but manage to land a 19lb 10 common really dark in colour and gold as you like one of the best i have…See More

just done three cold nights down the syndicate resulting in a blank having lost two , first one was a hook pull on wednesday morning around 7 oclock fish kited off to the right heading for deep water and just came off , second one was wednesday night around half 6 , big dropback and when i lifted into it it had already gone into the weedbed to my left , after 5 minutes of tension trying to budge it i gave it plenty of slack and put the rod back down, put hanger back on but layed it on the floor…See More

Smeatons Again
just done another 48hr session with the local legend mr burgin lol set up and in water for 9 in morning on wednesday had to wait till just after 5 for me first take it came from middle of lake and the result a 4/5 lb tench later on in the evening mr burgin had a few beeps and then again ten mins later and again ten mins after that so he eventually decided to check his rods and found his bobbin laid on floor so reeled in and found he had a 11ish lb bream chewing his cell bollie nothing through… Continue

48 hr on smeatons 1 fish lol to be fair it was a good size bream of about 12lb but still not carp so was dissapoimted just thought it was worth mentioning the have replaced all the old steps with new concrete ones and sorted pegs out abit so is very easy to get to river side pegs now how ever think the work done has upset the fish a bit so maybe it get better for end of year or next
